A fungal skin disease that occurs in the summer is tinea versicolor. White skin spots will appear all over the body, mostly on the neck.
These white skin spots will tend to spread if they are not treated.
The white skin spots are due to:
– Oily skin
– Increased sweating
– Weak immunity
– Bathing in the sun
– Spending time in warm places with high humidity.
They are a result of yeast that lives naturally on the skin, but it is not contagious.
The following methods can be used to get rid of the white skin spots should you have them.
1. Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory spice. It can be mixed with some water and then applied to the affected body parts. Leave on for half an hour, then rinse with water well.
2. Tea tree oil will help to fight against fungal diseases. It also fights against infections. Mix one tablespoon of olive oil with a few drops of tea tree oil. Apply with a cotton swab to the affected area and let dry for a few hours.
3. Probiotics are full of good bacteria. Yogurt is an excellent example of a great probiotic. These will help the body by fighting off any harmful microorganisms. Apply regular yogurt to the affected area, let it dry for a bit, then rinse off. You should repeat this several times per day. One may also apply a probiotic that is unsweetened on the skin in this same method.
4. Garlic has healing properties and can be applied right to the skin. It is effective at fighting off fungus and is an all-natural antibiotic. Cut one garlic clove and then rub the naked part of the clove on the white spots. Let the garlic remain on the skin for 15 minutes then rinse off. There could be some slight stinging with this, but that is normal.
