A lot of people have trouble sleeping during the hot summer nights.
The easiest way to solve this problem is to use an air conditioner in your bedroom.
But, for some people, this is an expensive investment while others have problems when the AC system is on for a long period.
The good news is that there is a simpler and safer way to help yourself in the summer.
By using some (or all) of these tips, you will save money and sleep much better.
1. Using a wet towel on the window.
Simply open up the window a little bit and place a wet towel.
This is a completely natural air conditioner that will bring cold air into the bedroom.
2. Store your pillow in the refrigerator.
Although this may sound odd, it works. Just think about it – during the summer we usually use “the cold side” of the pillow. If we keep it in the fridge we will have two very cold sides.
3. Placing ice cubes in front of the ventilator.
This is a great way to cool down the bedroom before bedtime. Put a lot of ice cubes on a plate and place it in front of the ventilator.
4. Put on a pair of wet socks.
Another great way to refresh your body is to put a pair of socks in the freezer and then put them on your feet. You will feel more comfortable in bed.
5. Using a cold bathtub for the feet.
Using a cold bath will refresh you and help you fall asleep easily. If you can cool your legs, your body will benefit in several ways, including improved blood circulation to the legs. This leads to a laming effect throughout the body.
6. Get rid of all heat sources in the room.
Don’t use electronic devices in the bedroom. They produce additional heat, which we certainly want to avoid during summertime.
