Once you try this natural toothpaste, you will never want to buy another expensive Ask the Dentist again.

There are many Ayurvedic herbal toothpastes on the market, but the one we present you in this post is the most effective of all. It includes Azadirachta Indica (neem) in its content, and effectively treats cavities and gum problems. This toothpaste supports the overall health of both, teeth and gums.

This fluoride-free toothpaste possesses strong antibacterial properties, thanks to the potent ingredients: coconut oil, baking soda, and xylitol. All of these ingredients are easily available, so it won’t take long for you to prepare the toothpaste.

Recently, the Athlone Institute has conducted a study which showed that coconut oil is the most effective oil when it comes to cleaning the teeth and maintaining their optimal health. It shows antibacterial effects which prevent growth of bacteria in the mouth.

The main researcher in the study, Dr. Damien Brady, explains that including this oil with adjusted enzymes in dental hygiene products is a great substitute for chemical additives. It even works at significantly reduced concentrations.

Required Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. of neem powder;
  • 3 tbsp. of baking soda;
  • 1 tbsp. of xylitol (for taste);
  • 3 tbsp. of extra virgin coconut oil;
  • 15 drops of mint essential oil (fresh aroma).

It’s important to use virgin coconut oil since it possesses strong antimicrobial properties.

Make paste by mixing all ingredients together. Depending on the outside temperature, coconut oil can harden, so it’s best to store the mixture in a glass jar.

This natural homemade toothpaste should be used as any other toothpaste, so 3 times a day should be enough. It will heal your cavities, gum disease, and whiten your teeth.
