We can all agree that a sudden malfunctioning of household appliances is one of the most frustrating things we can experience. These problems happen for different reasons – mechanical failure, improper maintenance or human mistake.
No matter what the reason is repairing or purchasing a brand new household appliance has proven to be very costly.
In the recent period, there are many people who complain about problems with the washing machines. Once the washing is finished, they take the clothes out of the machine only to find out that their clothes smell very similar to mildew.
If you are in a situation like this, you should know that there is a simple way to eliminate the grime and dirt from inaccessible washing machine parts which actually leads to this problem.
The solution requires the use of only two simple ingredients.
In the past, people used to call a specialized service in order to clean the washing machine. After that, they had to use someone else to repair and assemble the machine again. This is the reason why many people have decided to buy brand new washing machines.
However, you can now clean the washing machine and make it as good as new and the two ingredients you need are white vinegar (about 16 ounces) and Clorox bleach.
Before we share the details, let’s point out that you should never use the aforementioned ingredients together. This mixture is very toxic and dangerous. If you want to witness the positive effects, use the ingredients one after another.
The procedure begins with the process of mixing Clorox bleach with an equal amount of lukewarm water. Use this mixture to clean all the visible and accessible areas. Soak a rag in this mixture and start cleaning – don’t forget the rubber sealing.
The areas that are difficult to scrub can be cleaned by leaving the rag on that area for half an hour. In this way, the bleach will eliminate mildew. When you are finished with this procedure, start your machine on the hottest mode and don’t put any clothes in it. You must do this to remove the bleach.
Before the second washing cycle begins, pour about 16 ounces of vinegar and once again use the hottest mode available. Once the cycle is finished, your washing machine should be completely clean. Enjoy your fresh and clean clothes!
