A lot of people are frustrated by their acne, which appears as a result of dead skin cells, bacteria, clogged pores, and oil reproduction. They are further aggravated by some factors like diet, hormones, stress, and some medication, and are hard to treat. But, if they aren’t treated at all, dark spots and permanent scars can occur.
There are many products for the treatment of acne currently on the market, and though some of them help, acne keeps reappearing after a certain period. Other products don’t even help, and thirds are too expensive.
But, you can treat your acne with natural inexpensive ingredients which have proved to be effective in restoring your clean skin for good.
Natural solution

- It contributes to healthy skin due to its high amounts of vitamin A, B, C, and E
- It can prevent bacterial infections which trigger acne since it is antiseptic
- It’s loaded with antioxidants that fight acne-causing germs
- Helps in drying out the extra oil clogged in pores due to the present starch
- It contains enzymes that heal scars, hydrate the skin, and prevent the formation of new acne
Methods for Clearing up Acne
Banana peel. Rinse your face with cool water and a milk cleanser, and then pat dry it with a clean towel. Take a fresh banana peel, and chop it into small pieces. Massage your skin with the inner part of the peel for about ten minutes. When the piece will become brown, replace it with a new one. Allow the skin to absorb the banana peel nutrients for about 20 minutes. Do this two or three times a day.
Baking soda and banana peel. Make a paste from one tablespoon of mashed banana peel, half a tablespoon of baking soda, and some water. Baking soda effectively removes toxins from the pores. Apply the paste on the skin with circular motions, using a cotton ball. Allow it to stay for about two minutes. Then, wash it off with lukewarm water and pat it dry with a clean towel. Then, apply some oil-free moisturizer. Do the procedure daily.
Lemon and banana peel. The natural acidity of lemon assists in destroying acne-causing bacteria. It reduces the appearance of scars since it works as a natural bleaching agent. Mix equal parts of mashed banana peel and fresh-squeezed lemon juice. Use a cotton ball to apply the paste to the affected place with gentle massages. Allow it to stay for about 15 minutes, and then wash it off with warm water, and pat dry with a clean towel. Do this on a daily basis.
Honey and banana peel. Honey is an antibacterial agent and a natural moisturizer. Mix 1 tablespoon of the paste prepared from the banana peel, and half a tablespoon of raw honey. Apply it to the affected area with circular motions with a cotton ball. Allow the paste to act for about 15 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. After that apply a moisturizer that is oil-free. Do this treatment on a daily basis.
Oats and banana peel. Oats are excellent skin exfoliants. Blend one banana peel, three tablespoons of sugar, and half a cup of oatmeal in a blender until you get a smooth paste. Apply the paste on the affected skin with a gentle massage. Allow it to stay for about ten minutes, and then wash it off with warm water, and pat it dry. Finally, apply an oil-free moisturizer.
Banana peel turmeric scrub. The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory turmeric reduces the redness and swelling and destroys acne-causing germs. Mix equal amounts of thick banana peel paste and turmeric powder, and add some water to make a fine paste. Apply the paste to the affected area and massage gently. Allow it to stay for about 15 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Pat, it dry with a clean towel, and apply some oil-free moisturizer. Repeat the treatment daily.
