  • One cup of finely chopped and peeled ginger
  • Two cups of purified water
  • Sparkling water
  • Raw stevia (or raw honey) – to give a flavor
  • One juiced lime
  • Lime wedges for decoration


  • Boil two cups of water. Add ginger in the water and reduce the heat to low and leave the ginger in the water for about five minutes.
  • Remove the solution from the heat and use a kitchen strainer to strain it.
  • Before using it, make a combination of ginger syrup and sparkling water (1:3 ratio) and serve over ice. Use raw stevia (or raw honey) to make this mixture sweeter and add lime juice too.
