Here are some great soaks that will not only help you get rid of stinky feet, they will also make you feel good all day long. And the best part is that there’s some pampering added to this problem resolution.

1. Foot Soak Using Basic Epsom Salt

Epsom salt is just perfect for neutralizing the odor from your feet. Another great benefit is getting relief for your aching feet and replenishing the magnesium in your body.

Ingredients:
  • Epsom Salt – Half Cup
  • Water (warm) – 8 Cups

You will also need a large bucket/bowl for soaking your feet.

How to Use the Epsom Soak?

  • Put the salt in the water and dissolve it.
  • Keep the solution for soaking your feet half an hour at least 1 time per day (If you exercise, it is recommended to soak your feet twice daily).
  • Make sure to dry your feet fully after soaking.

2. Bubbly Baking Soda Plus Citrus Soak

We have all known how great a cleaning agent baking soda is. But you can also use its cleansing properties to play magic with your stinking feet.

How does baking soda help? It helps by keeping the odor in control; it helps kill the fungal and bacterial growth; and keeps the skin soft. The citrus ingredient, lemon is a great astringent and it gives the fresh smell to your feet.

Ingredients:
  • Baking Soda – Quarter cup
  • Water (warm) – 8 cups
  • Lemon Juice – From 1 lemon

Also take a large bucket/bowl for soaking your feet.

How to Use the Baking Soda Soak?

  • Add the baking soda into the bowl/bucket and cover it with all the water.
  • Add the fresh lemon juice.
  • Mix thoroughly and soak your feet for at least 15 minutes.

Dry your feet fully.

3. Sage Plus Rosemary

Sage has great antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral benefits. Similarly, rosemary is also loaded with antibacterial and antifungal benefits. Thanks to the astringent properties of these herbs, they will also reduce the amount of sweat released from your feet.

A lesser moist environment means lesser bacteria.

Ingredients:
  • Rosemary (dried) – 1 tsp
  • Sage (dried) – 1 or 2 tsp
  • Boiling Water

You will also need a bucket/bowl.

How to Use the Rosemary & Sage Soak?

  • Fill the bucket with boiling water and add the dried herbs.
  • Leave the herbs in the water allowing it to steep until its cold enough for your feet.
  • You should soak your feet once or twice a day for half an hour each.

Dry your feet fully afterwards.

4. Black Tea Soak

Another great natural therapy to get rid of foot odor is to soak your feet in black tea. This may look out of the ordinary, but thousands have used this method and today it is a tried and tested natural technique.

Ingredients:

  • Black Tea – 5 bags
  • Hot Water – 4 cups

Also take a large bucket or bowl for soaking your feet.

How to Use Black Tea Soak?

  • Fill the bucket with the boiling water.
  • Pour in the 5 bags of black tea.
  • Let it steep for a few minutes and leave it to cool to the desired temperature.
  • Now soak your feet in for 15-20 minutes.

Do this just once daily and dry your feet fully.

5. Vinegar Soak

Vinegar may be seen as something that releases a lot of smell. But it is still great in eliminating odor. The best thing about vinegar is that it will create a strong acidic environment that destroys bacteria. So you don’t have to worry about the bad smell created by bacteria.

Ingredients:
  • Apple Cider Vinegar – Half cup
  • Water (warm) – 5 to 8 cups

Also take a large bucket or bowl for soaking your feet.

How to Use Vinegar Soak?

  • Fill the bucket/bowl with the water and add the vinegar (mix thoroughly)
  • Dip your feet into the solution and soak for at least 15 minutes 2 times daily.
  • Make sure to rinse using cold water.
