Anti-Inflammatory Turmeric Ginger Tea – Recipe

Ingredients

  • Freshly grated turmeric – 1 teaspoon
  • Freshly grated ginger – 1 teaspoon
  • Coconut oil or black pepper – 1 teaspoon
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Lemon and raw honey to taste

Black pepper or little fat from coconut oil will help the absorption of turmeric, since curcumin has low absorption, but rapid metabolism.

Preparation

Boil the water and add the turmeric and ginger. Simmer for 10-15 minutes in a saucepan, over low heat. In case you use ground ginger or turmeric, boil for only seven minutes.

Strain, and add black pepper or coconut oil to improve the absorption of turmeric. Finally, add lemon and honey to taste.

Drink a cup of this tea on a daily basis for good health.
