Campbell Soup recalls soup of around 3,600 cans. After the discovery of a problem with the label, Campbell had to make a recall. The soups had a problem with the label because there were undeclared allergens and there was a mistake in the branding.
It contains milk, milk is an allergen, but that ingredient is not listed on the label of the product.
Potential side effects are the reason why Class I made a recall. There is a recall alert because of the possibility of harmful, serious consequences considering the health of the customers.
Numerous customers made complaints regarding the label and the fact that it did not match the content. Campbell got a notice about the complaint on April 20.
People thought that they were buying “Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta,” they could instead have the content of “Homestyle Healthy Request Italian-Style Wedding Spinach & Meatballs in Chicken Broth.”
So there was a big difference, to say the least. The cans contained ingredients that were different from the label. That not only is a mistake for what the customers wanted but also may cause adverse consequences or even death.
Any 18.6 ounces can of the product above-mentioned may be it. Check your storage and shelves and if you have a “Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta.” Check the bottom of the can and see if the date says best by February 13, 2019.
If that is the case, you have the wrong can. The cans were sent to all stores in Florida and have printed “EST 4R” on the bottom.
This is the soup that is actually in the can!
There are no incidents considering the soup. However, customers should throw out or return the soup for a full refund, the Food and Safety Inspection Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture says.
Make sure to check your cupboard and return it or throw away the soup. If someone has an allergic reaction after consuming this product, you need to see your doctor as soon as possible.
