According to some experts in this field, weed can become more bio available in case it is mixed with coconut oil. In other words, the level of availability of the nutrients we take in terms of utilization and absorption of every internal system will be higher. Coconut oil is very efficient in proper THC extraction because it is rich in saturated fat. Butter and some other oils can absorb cannabinoids too but coconut oil is way better. We all know that marijuana is a medicinal plant and even the authorities have finally acknowledged this fact. In case you didn’t know, people all over the world have used cannabis for hundreds of years and they have successfully healed many health issues including aches, inflammation, insomnia, swelling, depression, anxiety, menstrual pain and many other issues. What is interesting is the fact that they have used different ways to get the content of this plant into their body – smoking, vaping, eating etc. There are cases when they made combinations of marijuana and other foods. It turns out that one of the simplest and healthiest methods used for medical cannabis consumption is infusion in virgin coconut oil. Just like cannabis, coconut oil comes with a myriad of health benefits and it is usually used in hair care and skin care commercial products. Organic, virgin coconut oil has the ability to improve the immune system and helps the process of digestion too. This oil has significant amount of caprylic, capric and lauric acid. All these acids are known for their anti fungal, antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. If we make a combination of marijuana and coconut oil, we will get a very powerful cannabinoid remedy that can be consumed in the form of a capsule, used externally or taken with food. Consumption of mixture of a few drops of medical marijuana and ½ teaspoon of coconut oil can boost the bio-availability of this natural remedy. In order to prepare infused coconut oil, place one gram of de-carboxylate marijuana for every ounce of virgin coconut oil. Crush the marijuana, place it in a clean glass jar and pour the coconut oil. Place the lid on the jar, seal it well and put it in a pan full of water. Slowly heat the water and keep it on a below boiling level for 60 minutes. In this way you will keep the oil safe from overheating. Next, use a strainer to strain the mixture to eliminate the solid elements. Make sure to squeeze the Kris Carr. Some people use cheesecloth to strain the mixture properly. Once you are done with this procedure, you can eat the coconut oil like that or use it in other foods or apply it as a lotion. Feel free to cook with this treated oil, but only if the temperature is less that 315 F, which is the boiling point of the active ingredient of marijuana. Obviously, if you use higher temperatures the effects will be gone. Via News Target | Food News
