Coconut water kefir is an incredibly rich probiotic beverage, which is practically fermented coconut water. It’s also rich in electrolytes, and the following vitamins and minerals: Riboflavin, beta carotene, folates, pantothenic acid, Niacin, and vitamins A, E, B6, K, and C.
The reason why it’s believed to be better than common kefir is that its content doesn’t include the problematic substances found in normal dairies, like lactose and casein. So, our body will be able to process these probiotic benefits more effectively.
Coconut water kefir is thought to be the most beneficial probiotic drink since its effect on the digestive system is more powerful than any dairy probiotic food like yogurt. Since dairy is an acid-forming food, it can’t be handled by many people. Furthermore, the electrolytes or main minerals in coconut water are the same as the ones in human blood.

How to Prepare Coconut Water Kefir
You can prepare a homemade coconut water kefir in three methods:- Use a kefir starter culture
- Use existing kefir as a starter
- Use kefir grains
Ingredients:
- 1 Ceylon cinnamon stick
- 5 tbsp. of water kefir grains
- 7 cups of fresh coconut water
Preparation:
In a ½ gallon jar pour the fresh coconut water, and add the water kefir grains together with the cinnamon stick. Cover the jar loosely and let it stay for 48 hours, but no longer than that. Keep in mind that it shouldn’t ferment for too long since it may explode. When the coconut water gets fermented, its color will become lighter. Once the kefir grains are finished culturing, they will come up to the surface. Remove them when the culturing process is finished. You can either store the kefir grains in water in the fridge or use them right away for a new batch. That’s it. An easy way to improve your health in so many ways! Via Minnesota
