Headache is a condition of mild or hard pain in the head most often appearing from everyday life pressures. We can rightly say that a headache is also a boring appearance which is very hard to avoid. Headache can cause weakness because of the pain we feel. It usually appears as a pain in the upper back or neck part. There are different kinds of headaches but most of them are caused exclusively by received stress, too much noise, longer staying in front of the computer, longer crying, etc. One of the main reasons for the appearance of headaches is the tension caused to the neck, head, and jaw muscles. We can have a headache everywhere: at home, in the office, in a mall, at a party, and in other places. The pain is the same, but the approach for eliminating such is different and circumstances vary. You often in this situation lay down to rest or reach out for an aspirin. If you don’t have an aspirin nearby or no possibility to rest, the easiest way to release yourself from a headache is by doing a simple massage. Massage is a practice of applying pressure or vibrations to soft body tissues to improve circulation and ease the tension that occurs. While we have headaches we can help ourselves with a self-massage. It’s a simple and easy move that you can do at home or at work. See also: Treatment of Lower Back Pain

Pressure Points To Heal Headache

Eyes Area Massage – Close your eyes. Place the middle finger on your eyes and massage gently with firm circular movements for around 1 minute. Eyes to Nose Massage – Go through the downside of your eyebrow with your thumb (along the bone on top of the eye socket). Sense where the bone connects to the bridge of your nose and eyes and find the place where there is a little recess. Press that point with your thumb very gently around 10 seconds. Repeat this 4 times. Neck Massage – Massage the point where you feel the moving of your hand’s middle finger with the back of your head and feel the base of your skull. Especially that part at the top of your neck that meets the base of your skull. Massage for around 1 minute with gentle and circular movements. Scalp Massage – Massage your scalp on the top of your skull with your palms for a minute. After you’ve done these massages, deeply inhale. Raise your shoulders to your ears with 5 to 10 seconds delaying, so you can ease yourselves from remaining pain. Then return the shoulders to their natural position. You will feel a lot better if you do this more often and several times. Your massage will offer you relaxation, and your headaches will be less harsh and painful. And you – you will help yourselves!!!
