Scientifically, the perfect female body does exist.

You may be surprised by this, but wait until you see what its proportions are. The perfect female body is far from what the fashion industry may have led you to think.

According to the University of Texas researchers, the perfect height for the female body is 1.68 meters, while its bust/weight/hip measurements are 99-63-91.

The picture above shows a woman with exactly these proportions. This woman is the English 34-year-old model Kelly Brook.

When she first tried to break into the fashion industry, the talent scouts referred to her as a “plump”.

However, scientists say that in terms of attractiveness, her all-natural body is perfect.

You may wonder what makes attractiveness so important, and the answer is fertility- a human’s most important trait. Ultimately, the primary purpose of each individual in every species is to support the next generations, not only through pregnancy but through feeding as well.

Women with body and facial characteristics like these models are attractive to men as they are related to good health and youth.

According to studies, the same woman with more healthy and youthful characteristics will be considered attractive even by 2 men coming from different backgrounds, so this attraction transcends culture.

So Why All Those Skinny Models?

According to Jennifer Lee, who used to work for the head of Chanel, Karl Lagerfield, it’s because the job of these models isn’t representing fertility, but selling clothes. Fashion models are chosen by their ability to highlight the structure and lines of the clothing or other product they try to sell.

And this is why there are very few models like Kelly Brook in the fashion industry. Although a thin model can make clothes look good on the runway, the study with this English model shows that men like women a few times larger. However, the healthiest option is to find a weight balance, as being too skinny or too large can cause many health problems.

The video below shows which female body was considered as perfect throughout history.
