The history of hyperuricemia involves a high level of uric acid in the body. This high level is a result of increased production of uric acid or decreased excretion of it. This condition can cause problems such as gouty arthritis, renal failure, and kidney stones.
Some studies have found that high blood uric acid can lead to cardiovascular diseases and hypertension.
Normal uric acid levels include:

10 Ways to Control High Uric Acid Level
1. Lemon Juice
You may think that lemon juice will increase the acid level, but its alkaline effect neutralizes it. Also, vitamin C significantly reduces the uric acid levels.
- Combine the juice of one squeezed lemon and a glass of warm water. Drink this mixture every morning on an empty stomach for a few weeks;
- Enrich your diet with more vitamin C supplements.
2. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is rich in potent natural cleansing and detoxifying properties. It’s the malic acid in ACV that can break down and remove uric acid. Also, ACV restores the alkaline acid balance and provides antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits.
- Combine one teaspoon of organic apple cider vinegar and a glass of water;
- Drink this mixture 2 or 3 times a day.
