The following story is the worst nightmare of every parent, and unfortunately it happened to one Los Angeles father. He walked in the room of his 12-year old daughter in the middle of the night, and saw she wasn’t there.
This happened in the summer of 2015. The bedroom window in her room was cracked open so Tim and his older son immediately start searching for his daughter throughout the whole neighborhood. Eventually, they did find her, but just seconds before she got in a stranger’s truck, whom she met online.The father pulled the stranger out of the truck and knocked him to the
ground using his self-defense skills. He remembered to take a picture of the man’s face and held him on the ground till the cops arrived. The police arrested the stranger and accused him of trying to meet a child to commit sexual act, and sending harmful matter with the intention to seduce a minor. It turned out the accused stranger met Tim’s daughter online with the use of a fake profile of a 15-year old boy, while he had 27 years. He has been sending the girl lewd pictures of himself, and speaking sexually to her.
The father banned his daughter using social media sites, and he sends message to all parents that this unfortunate situation can happen to any of them. He believes that if he hadn’t help his daughter at that point, she would have never returned home alive.
