The Real Truth about Colonoscopy Test
Although very useful, this procedure is a multimillion-dollar industry. More than 14 million healthy people every year undergo this invasive procedure in order to detect colorectal cancer. However, does the colonoscopy test really help?

This number is even higher than the percent of annual deaths caused by colorectal cancer, the disease that this device was designed to prevent.
The Telemark Polyp Study I claims that colonoscopy actually increases the rate of mortality by 57%. This means that for one person saved by a colonoscopy, about 56 people experience some serious injury.
For example, a person can live with colon cancer for decades. However, if the doctor makes a hole in a person’s intestine, you can die in a record time.
There is scientific proof that there is a great possibility of infection by some serious health conditions. They include HIV, HPV, Helicobacter pylori, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Salmonella, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Aeruginosa and Pseudomonas, Flu Viruses, Creutzfeldt – Jakob Disease, and E. Coli O157:H7.
Colonoscopy Doesn’t Prevent Cancer
Up until 2009, the American Cancer Society reported that the screening colonoscopy did not reduce the rate of mortality from colorectal cancer.
According to an article in the New York Times from 2006, the participants in nearly all the studies had one adenoma detected on colonoscopy but there was no cancer.
In fact, cancer appeared in the following years at the same rate. This fact would be expected to appear even without the colonoscopy screening.
A research study in 2006 concluded this fact that almost all the patients developed colorectal cancer even though they have removed their polyps.
Colonoscopy – A Real Scam
Colonoscopy is a highly profitable business that just makes doctors and pharmaceutical companies rich. The AMA has planned to make colonoscopy a method for preventative care when it is an unnecessary invasive procedure.
The radiation from a single virtual colonoscopy is similar to the atomic bomb effects in Hiroshima.
The National Cancer Institute claims that it is not yet known whether virtual colonoscopy can reduce the rate of deaths from colorectal cancer.
Another noninvasive but just effective test is a fecal immunochemical test.
