There is one interesting folk tradition from China that has proven to be very important for the fingers on our hands.
Chinese Explanation for a Wedding Ring Finger
This tradition claims that the index fingers represent the person’s friends, sisters, and brothers and the thumbs are the person’s parents. The little fingers are the children, the ring finger is their partner and the middle finger is the person themselves.
So, fold the hand palm to palm and make sure that the middle fingers are in the position found in the video. After that, attempt to separate the thumbs/parents and you will find out that the only reason why they are separated is that they are the persons who will always be there for you. Fold these fingers again.
Attempt to separate the index fingers of your sisters, brothers, and friends and you will see that they will easily go. These people have lives that are not dependent on your life.
Attempt to separate your small fingers or children. You won’t have any problems, which is quite logical – after they reach a certain age, children leave their parents. Fold them back.
In the end, try to separate the ring fingers or your partner. You won’t be able to do this. The partners should be together until the end of their lives. This is the reason why people are wearing their wedding rings on these fingers.
