2. Golden Milk

  • 1 tsp. freshly grated turmeric root, or turmeric powder;
  • 1 cup of coconut or almond milk;
  • 1/4 tsp. of fresh, grated ginger, or ginger powder;
  • 1/4 cup of water;
  • 2 tsp. of raw honey;
  • 1/4 tsp. of vanilla;
  • A dash of cinnamon;
  • A dash of cardamom;
  • A dash of clove.


Just simmer all ingredients for one minute, and your Golden Milk is ready. If you don’t have all ingredients, you can prepare the drink by mixing warm coconut milk and a teaspoon of turmeric powder.

3. Turmeric Tea

  • Half a tsp. of fresh, grated turmeric;
  • Black pepper;
  • Lime and raw honey to taste;
  • A cup of water.

Boil one cup of water and add the turmeric. Let the mixture simmer for five minutes before straining it and adding the rest of the ingredients. Your turmeric tea is ready. A quicker way to prepare this tea is adding turmeric pieces in a tea maker.

4. Turmeric Scramble

Sprinkle some turmeric spice on your scrambled eggs, and you will have a delicious, and healthy breakfast.

5. Turmeric Soup

  • 1 knuckle of grated or chopped turmeric;
  • 4 cups of organic bone or vegetable broth;
  • Black pepper.

Simmer the broth together with the turmeric for around 15 minutes. Strain and add black pepper to taste.

6. Turmeric Smoothie

  • 1 tsp. of fresh or powdered turmeric;
  • 2 tbsp. of coconut flakes;
  • ½ a cup of almond or coconut milk;
  • 1 ½ cup of frozen pineapple or mango;
  • 1 tsp. of maca root;
  • 1 tsp. of hemp seed hearts;
  • A dash of black pepper.

Put all ingredients in a blender, and blend until you get the desired consistency.

7. Turmeric Kefir

All you need to do is add a teaspoon of turmeric in your kefir.
