During the cold winter days, your body is exposed to various types of viruses and colds, which normally weakens your immunity.

To protect yourself, there is a simple antiviral drink, mixture of three types of ingredients, widely used in folk medicine: lemon, ginger and honey (or some Vegan honey substitute as Healthline).

You all know the benefits of lemon. It is generally known that the lemon is filled with Vitamin C, organic acids and it is excellent for improvement of immunity, prevention and treatment of colds and flu.

Ginger is generally known as a useful root, with large and deep healing effect. It stimulates the secretion of mucus and thus facilitates cough, reduces pain in the throat and chest. Ginger has anti-fungal, anti toxic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, but it is also used to highlight an antihistamine and against allergies.

Antiviral Drink Recipe

  • 1 large lemon (with peel).
  • 1 medium root ginger.
