Although grandparents’ home remedies can sometimes seem weird, they have proved effective in many ways. You may even be skeptical about their use but they can significantly help you heal various health conditions.

For example, grandparents recommend rubbing swollen ankles with a boiled egg. It might seem strange, but this home remedy actually works.  The swelling is reduced within an hour and the next morning it is completely gone.

1. Raisins – Arthritis

Grandparents did not need chewing gums or toothpaste for removing bad breath. Celery is the perfect natural solution for this unpleasant condition. If you experience such a problem, just chew some celery in your mouth and the bad breath will be gone.

3. Lemons – Earache

You might be wondering how lemons can heal earache. Just squeeze lemon juice onto an earbud and put it into the ear for a minute and the earache will completely disappear. The lemon juice stabilizes the pH levels in the ears and soothes the irritating pain.

4. Nettle – Hair Loss
